Privacy Policy

Unionly is a mobile app that lets couples and their guests collect the photos and videos taken at a wedding into one shared, private album — so the couple can relive the moments they missed. This policy explains what information Unionly collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers both the Unionly app and the Unionly website at joinunionly.com.

Unionly is built around a simple principle: your wedding memories belong to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your photos or videos for advertising.

Account information. When you create a Unionly account, we collect the information needed to identify you and secure your account, such as your name and email address.

Event and content data. When you create or join a wedding event, we store the event details you provide (such as the event name and date) and the photos and videos you and your guests choose to upload to that event, along with captions, comments, and reactions added in the app.

Website visitors. The Unionly website collects no personal information from visitors. It has no sign-up, no contact form, and no newsletter, and it sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

We do not collect precise location data, contacts from your address book, or any information you do not choose to provide.

We use the information above only to operate Unionly:

• To create and secure your account.
• To host your events and make uploaded photos and videos available to the guests of that event.
• To respond to support or privacy requests you send us.

We do not use your photos, videos, or other content to train models, to profile you, or for advertising.

Account, event, and content data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Access to an event's content is restricted to the people invited to that event. We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but protecting your memories is central to what Unionly is for.

Photos and videos you upload to an event are shared with the guests of that event — that is the purpose of the app. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

We use a small number of service providers to operate Unionly, such as our cloud hosting and storage provider, which processes data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. On the website, typography is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads; we do not receive that data ourselves.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Unionly and its users.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active so your events and memories remain available to you. You can delete photos and videos you uploaded, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@joinunionly.com. When an account is deleted, its associated personal information and content are removed from our active systems, subject to any legal retention obligations.

You can access, correct, download, or delete your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will honor those rights as required by law.

Unionly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Photos of children may appear in event albums only because an adult guest chose to upload them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how Unionly handles information, we will update this policy and the date at the top before the change takes effect. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app or by email.
